Acme Gothic (2018) is based on the thick and thin gothic lettering style popular in the U.

S. in the first half of the twentieth century. There have been typefaces in this genre before, but they were either too quirky (Globe Gothic), too English (Britannic), too Art Deco (Koloss), too modern (Radiant), or too Art Nouveau (Panache).

None captures the plain, workman-like style of Acme Gothic. There are five widths (Compressed, Condensed, Normal, Wide, and Extra wide) each with five weights (Light, Regular, Semibold, Bold, and Black) for a total of 25 different styles.

Acme Gothic has extensive language support, covering most Latin-based writing systems.

Acme Gothic also includes both small caps and raised small caps (accessed through an OpenType stylistic set) both of which can be found in vintage examples of this lettering style.

TT Nooks is an experimental font family that includes a high contrast serif, TT Nooks, and an upright italic, TT Nooks Script.

Despite the difference in style, both subfamilies get along well, which is partially thanks to their similar proportions.

Each of the subfamilies includes 4 weights: Light, Regular, Bold and Black. The main subfamily is TT Nooks—a stylish high-contrast serif with a light touch of self-centeredness.

If TT Nooks were a person, it would be an elegant lady with an independent and firm personality.

In the original sketches of TT Nooks there were traces of a broad pen, but in the course of further evolution the typeface moved away from this style, retaining only the high contrast of strokes.

In addition, in the process of design searches TT Nooks has obtained a touch of geometricity.

The serifs in TT Nooks stand out especially visibly thanks to their geometric shape that resembles slippers.

In addition to their peculiarity, such serifs add stability to the font and allow better compensation of the black and white ratio within the letters.

TT Nooks has small capitals for Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, as well as a set of stylistic alternates (including some figures) that makes the typeface a bit more geometric.

In addition, we have drawn more than 25 ligatures, including ligatures for capital letters, slashed zero and many other useful OpenType features.

TT Nooks Script is a complementary family designed to harmoniously extend the main family and expand its scope.

The forms of the characters in bold and light fonts of TT Nooks Script are quite different.

For example, Black & Bold have high contrast strokes and an open aperture, and in Regular & Light the aperture of the characters is closed.

TT Nooks also has small capitals for Latin and Cyrillic alphabets, ligatures, oldstyle figures and other OpenType features.

In light faces, TT Nooks Script is more humanist and has artifacts inherent to the continuous movement of a flat pen.

In bold faces, TT Nooks Script has a very dense and dynamic typing rhythm, and the shape of the letters begins to geometrize.

We had had the difficult task of preserving the continuity of forms between bold and light faces, and we have managed to solve it thanks to the found rhythm, which united different fonts, and proximate stylistic solutions.

Gramatika shapes and styles are consistently tailored to each character to customized to meet this classic grotesque-ish contemporary style.

By offsetting the balance and flexibility, Gramatika established to create alternative communications for current trends and consists of several weights including Light to Black, equipped with Latin Pro, Cyrillic, and Greek language support.

Silent Echo - the name just popped up! I didn’t hear and echo, nor is it very silent here (with three kids running around).

Silent Echo is a handmade all caps font. Quite neat, very legible and full of swashes!

Vikive is a family of Sans Serif fonts, better known in its origins as as Gothic in America or Grotesque in Europe.

Some authors divide them into three categories: Grotesque, Geometric and Humanistic.

Probably, it can be defined that Vikive has some characteristics of the first two: Grotesque and Geometric, high x-height, slight squareness of the curves, wide set, open tail, simple construction.

The family concept provides several weights and widths for one face and its matching italics, therefore this family of types is more suitable for text settings, enriched with strong contrast fonts (condensed thin or expanded black) for headlines.

I bought something online, but when I received it, it wasn’t exactly what I had hoped it would be.

So I read the return policy and sent it back. And… came up with this font and its name in the process! Return Policy is a hand drawn slab serif, inspired by a bunch of slab serifs from the early 20th century.

Return Policy has been given a ‘grunge’ overhaul, making it ideal for sturdy products, websites with an industrial look and manly posters.

Loosely based on our very popular Cyan typeface, EM is EMphatically the most distinctive and modern typeface we’ve created yet.

Slight variations between thick and thin with stenciled effects, and Flared stem EMphasis for character.

Cheddar Gothic Rough is a hand-drawn, textured display font with regular and italic styles. An all-caps, sans serif typeface with condensed proportions that works great for a variety of display uses.

The uppercase characters add distinction with extended crossbars and chiseled terminals, while the lowercase provides a more classic sans serif appearance.

Carefully drawn for quality and readability, but still rough enough to exhibit the handmade details.

Cheddar Gothic Rough is great for display, branding, packaging, advertising, food, sports, titles, and more.

This font has extensive Latin language support for Western, Central, and South Eastern European.

This font is the textured version of the Sans family within the larger Cheddar Gothic font family (which includes Sans, Serif, Slab, and Stencil styles).

Warka typeface is based on sans serif. This display family includes 5 font styles. Combinations may give you impressive effects.

Some time ago, my son asked me to name all Seven Seas. I had to think for a bit, because I can think of more than 7 seas (the North Sea, the Caspian Sea, the South China Sea, the Sea Of Okhotsk, etc.

), but apparently these are not part of the BIG Seven. It turns out that even oceans count as ‘seas’. Long story short, I created a font, had to think of my son’s question and named the font Seven Seas.

Seven Seas is a hand made serif that comes with swashed alternatives for a lot of glyphs.

I like ‘magical’ fonts and it’s been a while since I created one, so here is Fairy Godmother.

Handmade, cute and curly and full of magic! Fairy Godmother comes with a whole bunch of swashes!

The Mono version is a little different from Sans family, where the letters have a straight shape in the top bottom.

The idea was to make a classic mono typed version with different selection of letters.

The inspiration comes from some old documents and store signs from my great-grandfather’s old gold listfactory from 1838.

He delivered hits for many artists of that time, and various museums in Copenhagen.

I priority increases to make a mixture of the classic letter with a modern lift.

Seems it was fun to try to reproducesome of the old characters and make a new font.

Uppercase ‘G’ was the first letter of the startingpoint. G stands for in danish ‘Guldramme’, which means ‘Goldframe’. Arkibal is coming from an almost old danish tradional name “Arkibald”, only without “d”.
