Designed by Alejandro Paul, Fixture is a sans serif font family. This typeface has seventy-two styles and was published by Sudtipos.

Fixture is our massive 72-font take on plentiful offerings of the late 19th century’s typefaces, posters, and wood letterpress sundry done in the Grotesk genre. Four widths ranging from Ultra Compressed to Expanded each come in nine weights and accompanying italics. Some common sans-serif alternates, such as the a and g, are included in all the fonts.

The idea with this design was to put together a workhorse font family with enough functional flexibility to work in multiple environments, from the subtlety of magazine layout or film credits to the visual drama of billboards or packaging.

Aesthetically speaking, it is quite interesting — though in retrospect quite unintentional — that each different width and/or weight of this face ended up pulling a different dominant trait from the melting-pot origins of the entire family. It’s almost like a tribute album to some famous band’s covers of older songs. It may also be a good conversation piece on our tools shaping the very things for which they’re used. Can’t really get any more post-Grotesk than this. In the 21st century, this is the one genre to rule them all.

Designed by Juan Pablo de Gregorio, Liliana is a sans serif font family. This typeface has eighteen styles and was published by Letritas.

Liliana is a geometrical typeface, born throughout comprehensive formal studies while testing new ways of displaying certain words and sentences. The essential structure of Liliana is very conservative: It can look similar to other geometrical typographies, however, it has unique features that make this project very special.

Liliana is a typeface that will work perfectly while setting short texts, words, and phrases as well. It shall perform greatly even when the paragraph is too short. Thanks to the versatility of its alternate characters, Liliana is perfect to achieve eye-catching texts.

The spirit of this typography is focused on its “s” character, which originates from manuscript writings and provides a very special identity. If the text does not contain the letter “s”, the intended personality can still be achieved by using alternate characters such as “f”, “l”, “r” and “L”, which are aligned with the same concept. On top of that, may all this still not be enough, you can furthermore use its ligatures and swashes. It is actually hard not to set a spectacular text with Liliana!

Liliana is a typeface optimal for being used in marketing assets, packaging design, magazines, branding, film captions, headlines, editorial, quotes, logos, corporate identity, and motion graphics.

The italic version has a 10-degree slant. This feature is intended to convey a gorgeous feeling of tension, power, and agility. It’s very interesting to realize how the dynamism in the italic characters works when compared with the regular ones.

The typeface has 9 weights, ranging from “thin” to “heavy”, and two versions: “regular” and “italic”. Its 18 files contain 642 characters with ligatures, alternates, and swashes. It supports 219 Latin-based languages, spanning through 212 different countries.

Liliana supports this languages: Abenaki, Afaan Oromo, Afar, Afrikaans, Albanian, Alsatian, Amis, Anuta, Aragonese, Aranese, Aromanian, Arrernte, Arvanitic (Latin), Asturian, Atayal, Aymara, Bashkir (Latin), Basque, Bemba, Bikol, Bislama, Bosnian, Breton, Cape Verdean Creole, Catalan, Cebuano, Chamorro, Chavacano, Chichewa, Chickasaw, Cimbrian, Cofán, Corsican Creek,Crimean Tatar (Latin),Croatian, Czech, Dawan, Delaware, Dholuo, Drehu, Dutch, English, Estonian, Faroese, Fijian Filipino, Finnish, Folkspraak, French, Frisian, Friulian, Gagauz (Latin), Galician, Ganda, Genoese, German, Gikuyu, Gooniyandi, Greenlandic (Kalaallisut)Guadeloupean, Creole, Gwich’in, Haitian, Creole, Hän, Hawaiian, Hiligaynon, Hopi, Hotcąk (Latin), Hungarian, Icelandic, Ido, IgboI, locano, Indonesian, Interglossa, Interlingua, Irish, Istro-Romanian, Italian, Jamaican, Javanese (Latin), Jèrriais, Kala Lagaw Ya, Kapampangan (Latin), Kaqchikel, Karakalpak (Latin), Karelian (Latin), Kashubian, Kikongo, Kinyarwanda, Kiribati, Kirundi, Klingon, Ladin, Latin, Latino sine Flexione, Latvian, Lithuanian, Lojban, Lombard, Low Saxon, Luxembourgish, Maasai, Makhuwa, Malay, Maltese, Manx, Māori, Marquesan, Megleno-Romanian, Meriam Mir, Mirandese, Mohawk, Moldovan, Montagnais, Montenegrin, Murrinh-Patha, Nagamese Creole, Ndebele, Neapolitan, Ngiyambaa, Niuean, Noongar, Norwegian, Novial, Occidental, Occitan, Old Icelandic, Old Norse, Oshiwambo, Ossetian (Latin), Palauan, Papiamento, Piedmontese, Polish, Portuguese, Potawatomi, Q’eqchi’, Quechua, Rarotongan, Romanian, Romansh, Rotokas, Sami (Inari Sami), Sami (Lule Sami), Sami (Northern Sami), Sami (Southern Sami), Samoan, Sango, Saramaccan, Sardinian, Scottish Gaelic, Serbian (Latin), Seri, Seychellois Creole, Shawnee, Shona, Sicilian, Silesian, Slovak, Slovenian, Slovio (Latin), Somali, Sorbian (Lower Sorbian), Sorbian (Upper Sorbian), Sotho (Northern), Sotho (Southern), Spanish, Sranan, Sundanese (Latin), Swahili, Swazi, Swedish, Tagalog, Tahitian, Tetum, Tok Pisin, Tokelauan, Tongan, Tshiluba, Tsonga, Tswana, Tumbuka, Turkish, Turkmen (Latin), Tuvaluan, Tzotzil, Uzbek (Latin), Venetian, Vepsian, Volapük, Võro, Wallisian, Walloon, Waray-Waray, Warlpiri, Wayuu, Welsh, Wik-Mungkan, Wiradjuri, Wolof, Xavante, Xhosa, Yapese, Yindjibarndi, Zapotec, Zulu, Zuni.

Salom is a sans serif, serif and stencil font family. This typeface has twenty-three styles and was published by Schriftlabor.

Salom was designed by Austrian type designer Igor Labudovic during his year at Reading University. Besides Latin, it
originally included Arabic and Hebrew. The peaceful coexistence of both writing systems in his fonts led him to combine
the words Salaam and Shalom to the font family name.

Salom’s sibling, Salom Sans, features the same letter proportions and therefore allows a rich spectrum of diverse typography, yet keeping the harmony between all styles. The sans has an additional light weight, while the serif comes with an expressive stencil style.

Designed by Marconi Lima, Obvia Expanded is a sans serif font family. This typeface has nine styles and was published by Typefolio Digital Foundry.

‘Obvia’ appeared as a result of direct observation on typefaces classified as geometric and the plan to explore for the first time width axes Condensed, Narrow (soon), Normal and new Wide and Expanded. The idea behind ‘Obvia’s design was to create a distancing from geometrically pure shapes, in this case, square shapes. Then some details were added, such as subtle inktraps, concave endings of the stems and carefully drawn alternate characters, giving a ‘geohumanist’ tone to the font. This first family of ‘Obvia’ has 9 weights ranging from Thin to Black, delivering a strong typographic identity, from the paper to the pixel.

Designed by Ivan Gladkikh, TypeType Team and Phillip Nurullin, TT Firs Neue is a sans serif font family. This typeface has eighteen styles and was published by Typetype.

TT Firs Neue is a contemporary reincarnation of the good old Scandinavian TT Firs sans-serif. In the process of updating the old typeface, we realized that the number of innovations and the amount of work done definitely deserve a full-fledged new release, and thus TT Firs Neue has come to life.

What has changed? Everything, starting from the proportions of letters and ending with a new formula for the interpolation of weights! So, we changed the proportions of uppercase and lowercase characters; corrected the difference in weight between the letters in fonts of different weights. We changed the basic thicknesses of the strokes so that none of their 18 fonts would stand out with their weight and would be completed following a strict system. We created completely new Italics. And, of course, we made changes directly to the style of the typeface and its letters—the letters have become fresher and cleaner from the geometric point of view.

The most interesting change in the font is the significant extension of its scope. While the old type family was primarily focused on display matters—that is, very large short inscriptions, the new version implies active use of the typeface in the text and on the web. With all this, the font’s character has not been weakened, but has even gained some more strength. This can be perfectly seen in the radical extenders of the letters gltf, or in the super-display visual compensators for horizontal strokes in the bold weights of the typeface. Even though the standard display of TT Firs Neue has become brighter and more audacious, you can always calm it down a little by simply turning on stylistic alternates.

And that is not all! And how about small capitals, and other OpenType features, you ask? In TT Firs Neue, you will find small caps (for Latin and Cyrillic alphabets) and a set of stylistic alternates. In addition to the “standard ligatures”, in TT Firs Neue you can find a large number of original ligatures (30 items) for capital letters, which cover popular two- and three-letter high-frequency combinations from Scandinavian languages. In addition, to support the linguistic features of Scandinavian countries, we prepared a set of capital letters with pinned-down diacritics (including their small capital versions). To access this function, you need to use the calt feature (contextual alternates), or enable the second stylistic set (ss02) in InDesign. And that’s not all, there are a lot of useful features in TT Firs Neue, such as: ordn, case, c2sc, smcp, ccmp, frac, sinf, sups, numr, dnom, tnum, onum, lnum, pnum, dlig, liga , salt (ss01), ss02, locl, calt.

Designed by Adam Ladd, Config Rounded is a sans serif font family. This typeface has twenty styles and was published by Adam Ladd.

Config Rounded is a condensed geometric sans serif with rounded corners. A sibling to Config, this typeface was influenced by geometric sans serifs with circular forms on the tops and bottoms of characters, but the proportions have been condensed by incorporating straight sides for a design that is sturdy and space-saving. It’s efficient yet friendly. Use Config Rounded for a subtle softness that still looks modern and strong. Or use Config for a sharper appearance.

The neutral design of this typeface with subtle details makes it functional for type setting in small and large sizes. With 10 weights (plus italics), there are multiple options to fit the need—black and thin for extreme uses and intermediates for more common needs. It’s clean nature allows it to be readable at small sizes, but the touch of character—as seen in the notched joints (like the n and u), rounded details (like the l and t), and horizontal/vertical terminals (like the a and e)—make it interesting at large, display sizes.

Config Rounded includes lots of OpenType features, as well as symbols to enhance your typography:

• Multiple stylistic alternates (8 stylistic sets)
• Standard and discretionary ligatures
• Case-sensitive punctuation for All Caps
• Tabular figures
• Fractions, numerators, denominators
• Superscript, subscript
• Slashed zero
• Arrows, circled numbers, geometric shapes

With over 600 glyphs, this font has extensive Latin language support (100+ Latin languages) for Western, Central, and South Eastern European.
